Literature Text
I’ll never forget the night you became a raven
How bright your eyes were
How the tips of your elongated fingers sparked electricity
How your laugh became a caw
The way you wrapped your wings around me
And pulled me down into the darkness
And my fingers became tiny branches
We laughed, soft and low
The way the damned do
How bright your eyes were
How the tips of your elongated fingers sparked electricity
How your laugh became a caw
The way you wrapped your wings around me
And pulled me down into the darkness
And my fingers became tiny branches
We laughed, soft and low
The way the damned do

wednesday's child
it is the third of october
and i am building a castle for us
out of feathers, bird bones,
ocean waves and library book pages.

touching the ground.
you are sin, he whispers
and his fingers trail cold fire
down my side, scorching flesh
and freezing bone;
brittle pieces of me shatter

your words echo in my mind
a constant reminder
that i am sin
but you,
you were

Not
I want to pluck off every one of her petals
and leave behind the shell of a flower.
He loves me.
I want to rip out every piece of his hair
and make him ugly,
so she won't call him beautiful anymore.
He loves me not.

Hekate
I feared you because I did not know
Your mystery
Your solitary nature
I fought your darkness
Never realizing you were the night
Luminous on your own
With your torch held high
I feared you but I knew I loved you
Always present in my soul
Quietly waiting for me to approach
When I stood at so many crossroads
Holding my hand when my inner flame flickered
Worn down by battles I couldn't fight alone
You guided me to the right path
I feared you
Until I couldn't any longer
Because you held my face in your hands
Forcing me to stare deep in your eyes
Until I saw me
Past Present Future
Never alone
You were there
When I was blinde
